Got the dreaded 'DSC Service Required' on my 2006 AMV8V. Code reader states that i have a faulty Yaw Rate Sensor. Anyone have any experience changing one or getting access to it. Have seen a posts that indicate the IP may need to come out? Looking for source of truth and easiest way to change it.

I believe it’s behind the radio display.

Before you go digging around behind the dash it might be worth getting a company with the AMDS system to confirm your code reader's conclusion.

So removed centre console, waterfall panel and radio unit to expose the Yaw Rate sensor which is located directly behind and is secured to the transmission tunnel with two nyloc nuts. Disconnecting all of the wires from the various centre console panels was a bit tricky requires time, patience and unusual wrist articulation. Removed the two nuts with a 10mm socket, removed the sensor and replaced. The sensor is a Ford part and readily available on eBay etc.

Reconnected all of the electrical connectors and tested to see if the fault had cleared before reassembly. Job done 👍🏻

Probably worth adding to the ‘alternative parts’ thread at the top of the Aston sub-forum - might save someone paying Aston tax…
