Hi all , looking for some help regarding driving in Milan. We going to the Monza GP in August and we are looking for some information regarding clean air charge . I’ve contacted the tour agent for the campsite we are staying at and they said they have not heard anything about it . But when l’ve put the directions into Apple Maps it says that there is a charge. Has anyone driven there recently and know if there is a charge or not .

Could it be the French Crit Air zones that are flagging up? Reims is likely on route and is part of the scheme.

Is it your vehicle and not a hire car? Then throw the payment notice in the bin. As foreign drivers do here, I simply ignore them. Not paid a penny ever.

Hire car companies take credit card details and have a clause where you are charged for any penalties that the hire car accrues.

It's all here but looks complicated, plus the fine can be expensive.
