Well that's a surprise.
Hopefully once caught they don't get off on a kinder sentence.

Award-winning puns aside, is this an easy thing to shift and actually make any money out of? That’s a hell of a lot of chocolate to offload and I assume would need multiple outlets? Feels like 3 Rolexes would be easier!

That said, bd thieves…hope they choc on it

Talking of which, precisely what quantity of hallucinogens did it take for the Kinder advertising team to come up with the concept of using a cast-off Doctor Who monster to promote their stuff to kids?

Friend's Stepson worked all over the World for Cadbury's as an expert on Cocoa.

She was at Irish dancing in Glasgow and somebody came round selling White Cadbury's chocolate bars, so she bought some.

She remarked to her Hubby how nice they were, as she hadn't seen them before.

He told his Son, who asked where she got it, as the first 3 trailers of the White chocolate, not yet released at the time, had been stolen on their way from Belgium.

So it is a thing...

For the people involved, the theft and offloading of a £40k watch (never mind three of!) would almost certainly involve a ton of risk & realising pennies in the pound of the notional value.

That said, they probably won't get anything like retail on chocolate either - and 5 tons is a lot to get rid of!

I worked for a freight company in Wythenshawe as a young lad, it got broken into and a container load of skateboards and rollerskates got nicked, all of them, 20ft containers worth, they went through breeze block in the back wall and hand balled the lot out.

Every kid in a ten mile radius was seen on these very distinctive items for some time after, must have been selling them like mad in the pubs round Wythenshawe, best bit was we had a WPC come in to arrest my colleague, she claimed it was an inside job and he was the inside man, he shat himself and wasnt sure what to do, he twigged when she took her blouse off that she perhaps wasnt a real copper biggrin

Chocolate will be sold to newsagents, corner shops, and whatever at knock down prices, will be lots of fat kids around Wigan.

Stealing loads, whether part or entire trailers is and has been for a long time a major problem particularly on and around the motorway network in the NW

Gangs often emanating from the Merseyside area are frequently involved
