Yeah ok, the BMW 'Art Cars' were there but they were just painted cars

The 250 GTO is widely (wrongfully IMO) as a work of art............it's a racing car that happens to be a beautiful shape

BUT...................BEHOLD

a 1984 Orion, I believe and not an Escort as stated in article with a giant doily over it is now a piece of Art. Albeit for the Turner prize which is a load of old toss.

EDIT: Been advised it's an Escort Cabriolet...

Quite the most peculiar installation art I saw was some bloke who arranged to have a 997C2S crushed, and the cubed car put on display.
