It looks like you spend most of your money on new brakes. From the way you drive on track days, I didn't think you used them

Now, now you know that trackdays are not races :-)

Anyway what I want to know is when are you going to get your own Tuscan Ted? I remember you test driving my brothers old one - W421SBC (If I remember correctly) and taking photos in a wheat field, surprised it didn't ignite the straw, and burn you, the field and the Tuscan.

I remember the pictures, a chap in Kettering owns that the last time I saw it. Swapped it for his yellow Griffith.

Nice looking car Alan, Trevors next one was much better though, has he still got it?

I don't think Ted will ever sell his S4. It's one of only 32 (or is it 37?) ever made, so it's about the most exclusive car TVR have ever made.

Ted wouldn't be Ted without his trusty steed

Yes, he has still got it, have to say the second one is a lot better in terms of handling, fit and finish. The slight colour difference also makes it a whole lot easier to keep clean, so it probably only gets washed 3 times a week instead of the usual 10. More time to spend getting paid to clean other peoples cars.

Only thing on the horizon at the moment is the pull of a T350C we saw at the motorshow, he wants to change, I however being a bit of a bloater don't want him to change as I can't get in a T350C without a great deal of difficulty (getting out is worse :-)). Not sure I've done a good job on persuading him to change his mind though.

Not bad running costs (per mile) over its life, of 43p.When you consider the milage and TVR's as supposed to be expensive to run.

You will find the S4 next to the 420 SEAC at 37 produced and the 450 SEAC at 17 or 18 produced, still cracking cars
