Hello to all,

Great Le Mans trip as ever - seemed a bit quieter than previous years, certainly lower key British support at the start and finish. Shame no Porsche to support in LMP2 - next year perhaps?

Anyway, my burning question for the day is whether or not to remove the Gulf Livery I had put on for Le Mans. Everyone I went with (from N.Ireland) wants me to leave it on until the end of the trackday season.

What's the view?

And if it's anything like the Ford GT in Gulf colours at Clive Sutton St. John's Wood, yes, leave it on.

Ah..do the photos have to be on a URL somewhere?

If so, which URL could a 'not so technie' like me put the photos on?

You need to get them on the internet somewhere - yours are currently on your computer.
There are several free picture hosting services, e.g. Fotango etc.

Leave them on for not more than a month.

It's like Christmas decorations, IMHO. Look great when they are new, but after a while you get used to them, and they cease to be special, and then the car will look very bare without them.

Don't have 'em for too long, then you can look forward to putting them on again for next year.

Try hosting the pics on a site like http://tinypic.com. Follow the instructions to upload your shots then type: [pic] followed by your now hosted shot's url address and then [/pic] into your text. Took me about 10 attempts to do it for the first time, so good luck.

I'm leaving mine on, trying to get the car as dirty as me so it looks like I've competed in Le Mans.

The photos do need to be stored on the net, that link obviously goes to iPhoto on your Mac.

If you want to email me I'll put them online for you.

Is it a shared folder?

When you see the image (presuming you've got a Mac) control click it and select 'Open Image in a New Window'

This is the URL you need to copy and paste.

deffo leave on - looks great.

Makes it stand out which is great, especially if it's a weekend car. After all, it is a bit of a novelty for 911s nowadys to stand out from the crowd.

Haven't got my car yet but already dreaming of some stripes for next year....
