Pulled up next to the local offie the other night to get a few cans in for the England game and (having just be reaquainted with my 964) forgot the 'protruding over the tyre' nature of the cup alloys...

as a result I now have some very harsh kerbing on the offside rear

keen to make good from this unfavourable situation, I am thinking of having them refinished in charcaol/black - a bit like that mint green 964 in 911&pw..

any opinions on this look?

any recommended places in the south where I can leave the car?

can anyone photoshop some onto my car???

These guys did a complete refurb on the wheels on my old RB5WR, superb finish and could read all the usual small lettering on the wheels after completion - no over spray, superb finish inside and out.

Based in/near Tonbridge in Kent, might be able to look after your car, give them a call.

I'm thinking the same on my 968.

My Cup 2's could do with a refurb (the lacquer seems to chip very easily), and I'm thinking they might look good being a colour.

I was thinking either a matt or gloss black, but also toyed with the idea of red (got the big reds and red harnesses).

If a future owner want's to make them back to standard, do they essentially jsut have them refurbed again?

they look like youve had two punctures and have had to put on the emergency tyres

each to his own though

They can also look good with the rims left silver.
