So there I was travelling along the A414 from Hatfield to
Hertford ( A proper ready made fast road with tight roundabouts/long twisty bits and
off camber sections )
Then a blue/white RS buzzed me - I tried to keep up in the Megane F1 but struggled
When I got to the last roundabout he waved !
the car was immaculate with steel discs and standard suspension ( as it was bobbing along
the road )
As I know most RS cars I did not recognise the car or driver !

He must have thought ... bet that Megane driver would like one of these !!!

It could have been anyone Timbo. These cars are common as muck now; some people even have two!

but the car looked like it came out of a showroom
BTW - if it is yours you should get a fast road set up
by JZ or Parr
they dont look as planted in standard mode

I was thinking of selling my RS but seeing yours made me think ...
I cant justify spending 30K + on a new 997 GT3 RS when the old ones
look that good !

and the sound

If you did not ask for it to be done should they not foot the £500 bill to get it re - setup?

It needed a new trailing arm after hitting a boulder in the alps, so they will only set back to standard geometry settings unfortunately.

DanH - I need to pick your brains about something (you are the man who knows when it comes to ELise/Noble/Porsche issues). I tried e-mailing you through PH but you've probably discontinued that address. I'm at maxthegreyhoundATyahoo.co.uk.

Doug Campbell.

Will check my hotmail

SIXXR my car is at east london at the moment, but I suspect it's in the workshop at the moment. They had 4 RSs in when I dropped off on Thursday.

The one I saw had a reg beginning T11... It looked like it had just come out of the showroom. Absolutely immaculate. It kinda grabbed my attention. I've been fighting a very strong urge to buy it all day.
