What's the worth of a high miler?

I have just been browsing the PH classifieds and noticed that there are a few 3.2 litre 911 Carreras which have done quite a lot of miles, upwards of 130,000 miles with some having done 170,000+ miles.

Now, as the ultimate car I aspire to is a 3.2 Carrera, what would be the worth of spending £9,000 on a 180,000 miler over, say a 75,000 miler for £15,000?

Is there any worth or would the 180,000 milers need a thorough rebuild?

I'm just curious about what you'd do with a high milage car like that.

Nothing wrong with buying a high miler as long as you buy at the right price, and check its had engine rebuild etc..a badly bought high miler can soon cost you the same as a low mile car if you cop for an engine rebuild .......buy a high miler cheap sell it cheap. Good luck.
