Used to be on a very highly modified turbo around Bristol in the mid 80s. Then when the car was sold the plate was retained on a pug 1.9 GTI for a few years, prior to being sold to someone in Scotland.

I imagine the plate may go for a lot more than the quide price.

I think you are right Dazren. I know of severals potential bidders already.
I remember selling THE 911S, TUR 80, A911 RSR, THE 968S, POR 968S, A968 POR etc.
However, the 911 number never goes out of vogue like some of the other Porsche numbers.
Porsche GB own the two best ones though. A 911 & 911 GB.
