Anyone managed to find a connector (like the Dension Ice Link etc) that will allow a CDR32 to connect to an iPod? I've got a little iTrip FM Radio Transmitter but the signal is forever being interupted by mobile phone signals and that's IF you can find a suitably empty frequency.......
Any ideas?

OR

Has anyone replaced the whole unit with a something else that does the job? Wanted to try and keep the original head unit or at the very least, install something new that 'matches' the original look (black not silver....) and that also works with the power amp that was installed in the front bonnet. The car's second hand so I believe it has the sound upgrade? (six speakers and a power amp - not Bose.)

Try looking at the Becker units, they do ipod connector units and they match the interior.

I use a denison ice link, its a hard wired FM modulator that plugs into the FM socket and acts as a pass through for normal radio, select your preset freq then hide it all away behind the head unit.

only problem i found is when you set itunes to automatically adjust the volume of the tracks.. .. .. .. now it has made most of the track quiter I can occasionally hear a high pitched whine on quieter tracks although I guess I just need to wipe it and start again with the auto noise thingy switched off then it should be A OK.
