dropping out of gear..??

my car sometimes lately has started to drop out of gear.. sometimes when coming into roundabouts it falls out of gear when i hit the clutch.... anyone know whats wrong with it... thanks...!!

I'm no expert but I do know one reason for dropping out of gear is gearbox wear. If it's an older car then it could be that

Well mine did as have other Turbo's/GT2s owners on here. If under warranty Porsche will either rebuild or replace the box. In my case they put new internals in the box (£6k I think!

This problem has also been reporting with the car "popping" out of second gear in Boxsters.

Rare(ish) as I understand it, though...

Have you recently had a short shift kit fitted? The gear shift is adjustable at the gear change. Mine was badly out. When I over adjusted it, it dropped out of reverse & first.

It could be as simple as cable adjustment.
