I think the answer is 'no' but will it matter if I put non-genuine brake pads and discs on ?

I hope that since they are not part of the warranty then they will not affect any claims on other parts......

You should be fine. Most OPC technicians couldn't tell the difference between a Porsche disc and one made by Peugeot(bit harsh I suppose). Don't wory about it.
