Got stuck behind one at the Ring this weekend (not Keith's), and was curious as to whether the throttle was a factory option, as the one I was being blocked by must have been running on a fast idle..... hehe

Perhaps it was the first lap of his first visit to the 'Ring? Maybe he considering a nervous passenger? Or perhaps he just wasn't a driving god fergus.............mind you your post suggests you didn't exactly blast past him.

No easy way past when someones on the line through MHM!! thumbup

Only joking. It is an expensive car and it may have been a 1st lap, but funny none the less coming up on a big winged, caged monster going round at what seemed like 3/4 of what it was capable of!

No problem. You can catch me in Turkey this weekend. I will be available for autographs after the race.

shame, as it would be great to see it going as good as it looked. Personally, I think Keith's car has a more stunning colour though. thumbup

It certainly attracted attention as we drove across France, Belgium and on to the 'Ring! Or was that the convoy of 11 Porsches that we were in!!!

Fergus,

That sounds like Andre.

The car is actually a 993 RS with an APP 3.9 conversion on it, and Full GT2 bodykit, it pushes around 400bhp
iirc.
He knows the Ring VERY VERY well.............

He races in the VLN and some of the guys i was there managed to blag a lap with him unlike myself

His diff went, so he had to limp off of the circuit, poss he was on slow down when you came up behind him.

Good to see you out there agin this weekend, glad i didn't take you up on the offer of the lap, as i don't think
my stomach would have taken the G force that thing could probably pull !!!!
