It's official: 911's are more addictive than crack!
Discussion
Yes, I can confirm that 911's are more addictive than crack*
Extensive scientific research** has proven that driving a 911 is more addictive than some of the most addictive drugs today.
A case in point was this morning, I had a dentist appointment - and although I still have the IS200, the drive would only be down boring 30mph residential roads, to park in a large public carpark, I had to fight the urge not to take the 911 'Just for the fun of it'
Thankfully I have a strong constitution (hey, i even quit smoking a couple of years ago, hence why i could afford one), and figured the advertising of the IS (ads in window) would be good - but as good as my IS is, I longed for the heavy clutch, that flat six burble and just that experience of driving MY 911....
However, the suns out, its a nice day... I may have to find time to take her out for a little spin this afternoon, regardless of how much work i have to do!
*okay, so i've never tried crack, but I heard you could get addicted after just one hit, so it seemed a good choice of comparison.
**a bit of a fib, I just made it up

So your only regret is not getting one earlier?
I have told my kids they are no longer getting any pocket money. It is all going into a savings account to buy them a Porsche when they grow up and feel the urge.
Of course, if the "fund" builds that much, I may buy them a TT before they both reach ten. Dad will drive it all the time and if they are good then they can sit in it at weekends.
