Many Apologies for my Enthusiasm

I'll keep it short ...
Haven't driven my car in a week , got into it tonight to drive home from work
and whadayano , the motorway was quiet.
The best live album in the world - 'The song remains the same' on full blast
(and in one fell swoop , he shows his superannuation!!)...
Life don't get much better.

You are dead right there. Had a similar moment myself last week. I injured my ankle in a non-alcohol induced fall so badly that I couldn't put my foot on the clutch so no car
The first time I drove it was heaven. The sun was shining, both windows open to get the full effect of the PSE (sorry Ballcock)and the world was a wonderful place.
OK I'm off now

I love those "life don't get much better than this" moments.
On the way back from the Nurburgring in May I stopped off in Brussels to meet some friends and run the Brussels half marathon where I recorded my best ever time. Later that same night in Brussels we drank beer and I met two very lovely ladies!
The next day I drove to Calais on a beautiful day with vitually empty roads nursing a pleasingly mild hangover, stereo on loud, I was looking around inside my 996 grinning and laughing like a madman. Life is pretty damn good
