I'll keep it short ...

Haven't driven my car in a week , got into it tonight to drive home from work
and whadayano , the motorway was quiet.
The best live album in the world - 'The song remains the same' on full blast
(and in one fell swoop , he shows his superannuation!!)...

Life don't get much better.

You are dead right there. Had a similar moment myself last week. I injured my ankle in a non-alcohol induced fall so badly that I couldn't put my foot on the clutch so no car grumpy

The first time I drove it was heaven. The sun was shining, both windows open to get the full effect of the PSE (sorry Ballcock)and the world was a wonderful place.

OK I'm off now paperbag

What's happened?

A few months ago this a forum of 996 doom and gloom mongers, being baited by 993 owners.

Now it's all 996 enthusiasm and 993 issues.

I like it.

I love those "life don't get much better than this" moments.
On the way back from the Nurburgring in May I stopped off in Brussels to meet some friends and run the Brussels half marathon where I recorded my best ever time. Later that same night in Brussels we drank beer and I met two very lovely ladies!
The next day I drove to Calais on a beautiful day with vitually empty roads nursing a pleasingly mild hangover, stereo on loud, I was looking around inside my 996 grinning and laughing like a madman. Life is pretty damn good

Beautiful afternoon here in London.........off out for a blast now.......can't wait.

996 is the car that does everything.......I went looking for a 993 and there were so many tired examples around...now I would never switch (except may for SleepEnvy's practically new 993 aRSe

Good weekend for it as well, unfortunately my 993 is being serviced and generally fondled and played with, not by me

Anyway ballcock - shame on you for listening to the stereo and not the engine! hehe
