So who's going to be there, sounds like a full grid again, 29 cars apparently with 2 or 3 more pending.

It'll be the only one I'll have missed this year, I'm required elsewhere that weekend.

I'm afraid that motorsport takes a back seat this Sunday (apart from MototGP from Montegi early doors). Ryder Cup singles action all day so will be planning a fulls days tv action in the garden if the weathers good.

Going for the Saturday (afternoon, certainly). Don't think I can make it on the Sunday, which is a shame as I'd have liked to see the Heritage Touring Cars as well.

Are you aware that there isn't a race on Saturday? Just a 2 hour race on Sunday. I don't think there'll be much GT action on Saturday afternoon other than qualifying.

BGT Grid update

Add 45 Damax Ascari for Aaron Scott and Andrew Thompson. The drivers for the No 15 and No 96 RPM Porsches are in the wrong cars in the above list. Glew/Bilimoria in 997, Ellis/Mortimer in 996.

Ah crap!

I was basing it off previous timetables for other venues (could not find one for this weekend anywhere - Silverstone AND GT/F3 websites), where there were 2 1-hr races, one Sat one Sun.

And I now find out that the HTC are supporting the BTCC at Brands too...which we were originally thinking of going to!!! mad

FFS, why can't these people publish stuff well in advance. They wonder why they don't get the turnout...

An excellent point. The timetable isn't usually available until the week before the event. Surely someone should know what races are going to be on what day. ALthough, I guess it is not in the circuit's interest to say "no racing today".

Firstly, well done to which ever of the yellow Trackspeed cars won the championship...

Luckily the weather was good, and there seemed to be a decent number of people spread around the various stands and viewing areas.

I was there on a filming assignment and although based in the pits we did get out and about and I thought there was virtually no-one there at all!

Although the weather was lovely for a change at Silverstone

Pending client changes our video highlight package should be on the Barwell website in the next few days..
