I posted this in the Cerb forum, but it's probably a better idea to post it here.

Anybody got any experience of a good MOT station local to South Shields, particulary for a Cerbera without cats?

Not sure you can get away with much anymore. An online program drives it all these days. Speak to the guys at Falcon on Skippers Lane Middlesborough. They deal with this issue from time to time and may know how to circumnavigate the emissions test.

My last MOT was one of the new ones and it wasn't a problem, but that MOT place is 300 miles away...

Nobles MOT along sunderland road near felling.

They gave my car a quick once over and failed it on a leaking shock and a loose droplink.
Gave the shock a blast with the jet wash and made a new drop link, took it back and it passed!!!

The car also has its precats removed and straight thru exhaust so i thought they might fail it on that but no...it passed.
