Moto GP, Who's going to take the title ?
Discussion
Will The Doctor finally break Nicky this weekend, or will we have to wait and watch for a Bayliss/Edwards style finale ?
Really dont think my heart could take a race for the title. If it comes down to it, I reckon Rossi has the balls for the job.
Think this whole season has been near on breath taking for spectacle, racing and intrigue.
Any non bike racing types been drawn in to it ?

Rossi, he's mentally stronger as he has nothing to defend but everything to go for.
Also although not spectacular I was very impressed with the new 2007 spec 800cc Ilmor running in anger with the 990cc bikes for the first time. Apparantly it's been going faster than the 800cc 2007 Ducati.

Rossi every time (Ilmor faster than the Duc' - where did you heat that - not in MCN)?
We need to see Rossie and Nicky fighting over the same piece of track (clutch holding up!) - and then we know Rossi will do it - fingers crossed he deserves it more.
Mind you I recon Marco, Loris and Vale will be the kiddies next year.

From the horses mouth, well the Ilmor MD's.
Crash.net said:
At Barcelona the team shared the track with Ducati's new 800cc prototype, itself impressively fast when tested alongside the current 990cc machines after the Czech Republic Grand Prix, but Ilmor claims that McCoy lapped 0.4 seconds faster than the new Italian V4.
"That was on Dunlops, so we are pretty pleased with the performance so far," Ilmor's managing director Steve Miller told Crash.net. "We were running six or seven lap stints and were 0.4 seconds faster than the 800 Ducati, and one second slower than the (multiple race winning) 990 Ducati."

Rossi
Only because of where he qualified today. Have not worked out the math yet but odds are he will not lose from such a string possition. Hayden may try too hard to keep up.
Edwards may be the key to the championship after all.

I was quite disappointed to see Rossi where he is on the grid, much more interesting when he starts halfway down the grid!
Hayden may just clinch the title, but not at this race.
I assume we can talk about quali results as soon as they're in as it doesn't get shown on tele?
It is Haydons championship to lose. Rossi has nothing to lose so will go for it. Hayden will probably do his usual and sit aournd 4th with Rossi, Pedrosa and stoner or edwards will pull away in front of him.
I would love Haydon to win however he isn't normally aggressive enough in the race. He is quick, very quick, but can't live at the same pace as rossi, Melandri, caparossi & Pedrosa. He is in the position he is through consistant good results not outright speed. The other riders have thrown away the title rather than Hayden winning it
