Was driving along in my MG and noticed a rather nice 924 comming towards me. Quick glance at the number plate and it was my old S!

Looked good - kinda regreat the price I sold it for now

Anyway, hello to the new owner if he's around on here, hope tis working out well!

I miss my 924 like crazy, worst thing is I bet the bloke I sold it to scrapped it he was always on to me complaining about piddling little problems that seemed like the end of the world to him.

Years ago I saw my old Scirocco broken down on a slip road onto the Edinburgh city-bypass.
It wasn't long after I sold it and needless to say, I didn't stop...

I'm currently thinking about getting a 944 S2 to replace it. My 924S was never perfect, but felt like a better looked after example with 70 hp more and slightly more driver focus could be quite fun - hence the S2!

yes
The S2 is the perfect step up from the 924S,I had an early 944 before the S2,so I know where you're coming from, and if you liked the 924,you'll LOVE the S2!

Great value for money- 150 mph Porsche for £6k,with handling and grip to match?
Nothing much else for that kind of budget.

ETA:Any excuse to post a picture!

Yep, that looks just like my old car would if it had grown up a little

I am kind of tempted, but I've learnt from last time round it would really have to be a second car (all be it used most of the time) so if I'm investing in a hired garage and a runaround for when I need to carry stuff (or passengers) I can also consider some more extreme 'fun' cars free from the shackles of having a roof .....or doors!!
