Basically how much for a good one - where to go to buy one and any "usual" problems.

Currently use a Noble as an almost daily drive so I'd be interested in a comparison there too.

How long is a piece of string etc...... there are RUf vin factory produced cars and cars converted by Ruf which originally left the factory as Porsches (obviously).

I have seen '80s 3.2 converted cars for around the £15k mark and you could pay up to £200k for a new specced up RT12.

Ruf themselves are a good source for cars, though mostly lhd,,,,any car you see over here for sale in the usual places PH, top marques, forums etc.......get the car details and check with Ruf , to see if they know the car..........there are a few chipped cars with RUF wheels, dials and badges which are not connected to Pfaffenhausen, being passed off as the real thing.

Quite a few UK cars were converted up until around '99 when RUF had a franchise in Surrey, since then all cars are done out of Germany.

Thanks Clubsport - thinking about spending £75k ISH, I'll call the factory.
