997 TT and SLR

I was walking to have dinner last night in Richmond when I noticed a black 997 TT flying up to the traffic lights. They were red and just about to go green, so we stopped and as the lights went green the TT took off and i couldn't believe how fast it was from stand still as i was watching it from behind racing to the next green lights i then noticed a Black SLR (one would have thought RACING the TT) very close behind but....... the TT def had the edge from where i was standing.

I was so happy through dinner as i had been toying with the idea of not taking my TT. But after that little bit of pleasure of really seeing that TT move with an SLR close but not " Winning " i realised just how much of a super car this might just be. Im not endorsing racing on streets just pleased to see a £300k car not leaving a £100k car standing.

They both looked amazing in black and id still take the SLR every day of the week but I dont have 300k for a car even if its doors do go up................ AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

edited to add, I still think id rather have a GT3.

Honestly and this is no lie...........I didnt even realise there was an SLR untill the TT had reached the 2nd lights and then i saw the SLR brake to go into the 2nd set of lights. I was so amazed at how fast the TT moved off the lights and just watched it go. Iv even driven one and it never semed that fast when i was testing it. Probably goes to prove a few people right who have said the TT is sooooo fast but almost boring. When i drove it i thought it was fast but it never felt scary fast but watching it off those lights made me realise just how fast it really is.
