N Lancs/Cumbria anyone?

Hi folks, been posting for a while on the SP & L thread, (upset a few people, oops), and I was wondering if there's anybody up in my neck of the woods. I live in Morecambe, (I know, somebody has to), and have just bought a new car that could do with a bit of exercise, so are there any local PH'ers that might like to get together sometime.
Car is a Vindicator Sprint(mk1) currently with a 2 ltr pinto, needs a bit of work, but drives OK.

I'm in Cumbria (Penrith) area.
Not much happens up here I'm afraid. The guys with the serious cars never bring them out for fear of getting a speck of soil on them.
LOL just realised, I can't really talk, my 2nd car is off the road for winter time now anyhow doh! (Supra)
My other car (GT-four ST205) is my all year round car and that still gets thrashed on our coutry back lanes !
I'm not a fan of these static meet ups where everyone goes to a car park and just sits there looking at other people's cars. Therefore you'll never see me at Mascrat Manor or anything like that.
I would be interested in a driving orientated meet up if anything like that happens in my area.
I actually organise one of these types of events myself in the summertime, so look out for next year's get together if you have a sports/gt/supercar.
I'm doing a trackday at elvington this weekend by the way.... these are the best ways to thrash your car about ;-)

I test drove that one, after 5 mins I was deaf, I SAID AFTER 5 MINUTES I WAS DEAF. The biggest problem with that one was the oil pressure (5psi idle, 20psi running
). Mines only got a humble 2ltr pinto in fairly standard trim, with standard carb, and a not too clever exhaust. Doesn't like to rev, but pulls like a train 2000-4000rpm.
Have plans for future developments, when finances allow. Best thing about mine is the fact that it's got an XR4i rear axle set up, which means disc brakes all round, and a LSD!
We could do with a North Lancs getogether somewhere, reasonably central to all of us, and somewhere near to Preston, with a reasonable carpark seems to be the right ball park, any ideas? Or perhaps somewhere on the A6 between Garstang and Preston, for reasonable access for folks coming in from Blackpool?

If it flies in a straight line, as the crow flies I'm 20 odd miles inland due East of Morecambe (not in N Lancs or Cumbria though).
I haven't been for months, but a group of VXs and Lotuses meet at The Phantom Winger, 398 Garstang Rd, Preston, Lancashire, PR3 5JE. The car park's a reasonable size.
