The Tesco seems like a good deal at £16K+

They both look reasonable money with little damage, but they are always going to have the Cat D stigma (especially when selling) and there is no mention of any service history which would be a big worry on a speed 6 car. Also no mileage given on the T350 and over 20K on the Tuscan, engine rebuild territory. Maybe not such a good buy?

I thought this was going to be an electrical queery, but anyway...

I'm starting to be tempted by perfectly straight Tuscans at ~18K so 16K for a bent one seems a bit pricey. It looks an easy fix though. £10 fibreglass repair kit plus some paint plus some heavy duty vallium tablets for the engine worries. Sorted! Just needs to be priced at under 10K, that's all.

Not worth it when you can buy a 'straight' Tuscan for under £12k.

TVR values have fallen considerably and willcontinue to fall until the future of TVR is known and demonstrated to the market. Only then will confidence return. Buying a 'write off' is probably a false economy unless you can get it dirt cheap.

I can assure you that 'BG' is invariably correct and also well-connected! (Ask him to sell you one for £13K...)

When the final S6 engine goes 'bang', perhaps minds will be focused on how to get a decent V8 in - which is what it should have had in the first place.

One of the main dealers is flogging a straight Tuscan for £11750. Not fiction but fact!

Which dealer is this then? Just looked on the TVR factory site at pre-owned and the cheapest they are showing is 21K for a 2000 model (I don,t think so!).

For 20 grand you could take your pick of perfect (as much as a trev every can be ) S versions with less that 20k miles on the clock, FTVRSH and looking very nice!

The only way for SP6 early engined cars is down down down. Dealers are waking up to this and trying to shift stock by chopping the prices. Partly winter slow down , partly TVR uncertainty.

Makes me cry.
