The official story with the Civic is it's max speed in BTCC spec is about 135mph then it hits a wall because it's drag factor is pants.
The Integra on paper should be slower, but is more slippery through the air, and thus is the better of the two.
Honda UK's official position is it's not interested in doing the BTCC, or even the WTCC, it has it's hands full trying to screw up it's own F1 operation by continually meddling with management ensuring no continuity.

I know it's true that saloon versions of hatchbacks are faster, I'm sure if they had Honda backing they would have ran the Civic!
