Just got my copy of Evo. Great picture of you and Andy's car and a good write up as usual.

Saw in the Car of the Year report the White LP640, am i right in guessing you have spec'd yours in white. If so it looks the dogs bolloxs. Awsome looking machine. Have to let me know when you take delivery and i'll have to get myself up for a closer look !

Newer. It has a 599 following a CLS on the front cover.

Aw ta Chris - yea its white. I think Ben's (nastywej) car comes first (also in white) in the next few days. His is an egear, mine and Andy's is the first manual. Long time till March though..Hope you are well

The LP640 looks as though its the solid white as opposed to ours which will be pearl. Not to good a start for them pissing out steam like that!!

To me it looks pearl white, looking at page 130 for a less 'artistic' shot

It is pearl white, its mentioned in the text as well. Looking at the spoiler on p127 gives it away, but it does look solid in most of the shots. To me it the pearl looks a very grey white in some shots I've seen

Hi Simon,

Been following your Lambo since it first appeared in EVO and i've bumped into you a couple of times at trackdays over the past couple of years too... always interesting to hear the latest - even if i do cringe at the bills! I like your attitude on the whole ownership thing though.... we only live once and all that (well thats what i keep telling myself)!

I may have missed this in the posts but do you know what your doing with the Murcie when the new one arrives.... Private Sale, Trade in or try both? You must have had the discussion with Lambo Manc... is the mileage gonna be a huge issue?

Just interested as i have often toyed with the idea of an everyday exotic.
