Thes are on my 'must buy one day' list and was simply curious as to why there are so many automatic ones. Do people really want auto boxes in a Ferrari? Have many people here got one and did you opt for this?
456 is more of a very relaxed long distance cruiser so the auto box suits it well. A lot were bought as everyday cars as well rather than just weekend toys.
Done several long European trips in my old man's 456 GTA and it has been brilliant
Had a manual one for a couple of months several years ago. It was only ever a stopgap between other cars, but remember thinking it looked MUCH better than it drove. I guess the babyseat going in the back was useful, but haven't been tempted by the 612....
