Does anyone know of a good jewellers in Newcastle who will be able to value a ring and possible buy said ring and sell on?

I'd try the Northern Goldsmiths first. Well respected shop that have 'real people' that are properly trained.

There is also a second hand dealer opposite the 'Richer Sounds shop, I think its Mosley St. They deal with rare coins and vintage stuff. Again, a proper trader, and not just a pawn shop, so they may give you a better idea of true value.

Yeah its construction related, went to Northumbria part-time nearly finished now so its all on-site assessments.

Hopefully won't be in the construction game for much longer.
