As Steve Glynn won the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge this season, will he be able to put the number "1" on his car for next season?

Somebody better tell Graham he's no longer 2006 champion before Steve puts a number one on his car!

Steve was a class champion as was a certain 'wedgeman' I seem to remember.

Why the concern for Steve then Howard?

Been watching some old TVR Tuscan Challenge series roundups on ye olde VHS & noticed a number 1 flashing round - never really noticed it before.

Didn't actually think about Graham - he won Class B along with the TVRCC Challenge Cup, but I would have thought the number 1 would have gone to the winner of Class A. Good point though Mark yes

In the Tuscan Challenge Number 1 is reserved for the Guest Car, traditionally the cars always keep their numbers year on year.

For the record the 2006 tuscan challenge champion is me !!!hehecool

The TVRCC Challenge Cup is presented to the overall winner of the Tuscan Challenge, or atleast it will be when I catch up with Tim who won it last year

The Tuscan Challenge & the TVRCC Challenge Cup are two different things aren't they?

Steve Glynn won the Dunlop Tuscan Challenge & you won the TVRCC Challenge Cup - or did I miss something? confused

Nope I won the Tuscan Challenge in the same way anyone in any class could win it, thats why the series is called the tuscan challenge..

The Challenge cup is currently just that a cup you currently get for winning the series that happens to be called the Tuscan Challenge.. Steve won class A of the tuscan challenge I won B and the overall title you won class C

If you want to be really pedantic, the Challenge is a series of individual races not a championship, so technically no-one could 'win it' Fortunately we're not at home to Mr Pedant, so the overall honours go to Mr Walden

I never actually saw a published list of points race by race. Presumably such a thing exists?

<LOL>...we've never been an msa championship ( tas challenge/tvrcc/challenge) etc an its never stopped us before...

Andy are you not a TVRCC member as they are published in Sprint.. I've still to do a write up for PH with the points.
I can send you the s/sheet if you wish...

Howard, If number one was an issued number in this series/championship then yes I would qualify for it, but instead its a reserved number for the Guest Car/driver So I'll have to stick to 41 my old motor cycle trials number..

Nice to know you think of us as number 1 though mate hehe

I'd be interested, so yes please. In 2004 and prior years Mr Reid used to circulate a spreadsheet after each race of the TVR Tuscan Challenge (which was an MSA Championship). It wasn't always totally correct, although I'm sure yours is

I can't find a copy of last year's regs either, so if you have a copy of them too I'd be grateful.

Of course - who else? hehe

Enjoy it while you can!

Anyway - you're just upset because John Reid has taken your title from you yes

All hail JR - the new Gravelmeister bowrofl
