Picked up my 05 boxster S yesterday and i wow it's ACE!!!

Just a quick question, What oil do they use (manufacturer/viscosity) Just think it could do with a little top up, the level is just above minimum on the dsplay.

I cant wait for 6 o'clock to come so i can drive home and listen to that fantasic engine !!

The throttle respones is far better (obviously no turbo lag) power available all the time, the engine sounds fantastic, havn't driven it hard yet although i did do a bit of overtaking on the country road to work this morning and was well impressed.

Its in a totally different league build wise. German engineering for you i guess.

Yes.

I get mine from www.opieoils.co.uk

if you register and then log-in to the site, the members prices are cheaper than you will find elsewhere unless you're a Costco member.

You've got a Boxster S, so no, you can't stop it. Get a RoadAngel to make sure you keep on smiling

Have you got the standard exhaust? What options did you get? What's the bits you like best and the bits that bug you?

Standard exhaust, i think im gonna upgarde at some point in the future. The road angel is already in, i had the STI prodrive and it was a must then laugh .

Extra's

PCM + multi function stearing wheel
Sports Chrono pack
19" C 'S' Wheels
Sports seats in full leather (blue)
climate control

Cant think what else but the bill of sale was 51 K from the dealers so 12 grand in extras(i think). It hasnt got PASM or PCCB. Im well impressed with the standard brakes up to now. How much will i be looking at for a more throaty exhaust note??

Addition to the above.

As yet the best bit for me is the engine noise. havnt been able to get a full appretiation of the car. Yesterday was the get used to afternoon but the lovely british climate ie rain has put me off giving it big licks.. curse

NOthing has bugged me about the car yet but ive only had it a day so watch this space. oh maybe it could do with I-Pod conectivity?
