I'm happy to plan the next Surrey Run extravaganza and suggest an event on Sunday 4th May.

The idea this time is to set off nice and early (like just after sunrise ) so as to take advantage of clear, numpty-less roads and drive a fantastic route to our breakfast destination.

Times, details and route to follow: email me through my profile if you'd like to be kept up to date with arrangements. Current idea is to head coastwards...

Well, we shall see. If the Tiv is gone and the Mini has been done by then I will bring the Mini, but if I have to drive a Focus then I'll need to leave the night before to make breakfast!

If it is, and RiverGirl is going, I'm there!

Karen and I have planned May's Surrey Sunday meet in conjunction with Bob the Planner on this date. We've contacted a most of the Southern TVRCC regions. This has been in the pipeline for a bit, but will only arrive with April's Sprint (could be a while before you read about it )

Would the Surrey Runners consider joining us for lunch following the mornings events?

Steve.

I cannot make this.. its my mum's Birthday, and too close to Le-Mans .... The wedge will be serviced, shod, and greased up ready for France.

Don't see why I won't be able to trundle the Noble along (although not convinced Nick will want to be up that early )

And as it's my birthday exactly a week later - it'll be the perfect excuse for people to eat lots of cake!

I'll check the date with the Mrs, Jeremy. Would be good to go along to a meet. Especially if it involves meeting up with some other TVRCC regions in the afternoon and so on...

Might bring the Porsche as a wind up...

I think I'm at Curborough (VSCC) but I'm sure some some of the Hants lot will meet up at the Beach Arms, which is 30 miles from the Beach!

It would be good to have you along Don - and in the Porker.

In all seriousness it would be good to have a greater variety of cars on the runs: this is very much a PH community thing, not a TVR thing. The past runs have, in my opinion, been all the better for the presence of Ultimas, Nobles and those funny wedge things.

Oh, and if its fine I'll be in the Caterham anyway...

Robkola,
Are you bringing my rolling pin?!. I bet you thought I'd forgotten . My advice to you is wear running shoes and a hard hat.

See you soon,

Funny you should say that - I've just accumulated 6 hard hats for my "building site"!

Guys - this is the Bank Holiday weekend - are we not concerned about a Numpty overload at any time . . .worse still an influx of caravans and old 5mph steam wagons on route to country fairs!
