Title says it all.

Friend has snapped her cambelt on her 147 1.6 and Yapps are quoting £2 to £2.5k!!!! so she's looking for somebody to do it cheaper.

Any ideas?

dont see why you need a specalist dealer to do it,any half decent garage will sort it for you a lot cheaper

Same thing happened to me a few years ago with a Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo. Its a pig of a job but I gave the work to Graham at G&L Motors Trecynon, Aberdare who, were superb and unbelievably reasonable. They carried out a top notch job also.

Just had cam belt changed on my A8, had to take the front of the car off !! Three Arches Garage did the job for £300
