So I am driving home from work off a 6 till 2 and what do I see, a silver skoda octavia with blue lights blazing just after the Lazenby junction heading towards Redcar and he has pulled a corsa and a white tranny vanman so thanks Cleveland Police I know what to look out for now and I would have loved to have seen the faces on the 2 he pulled over.
You'd best watch out for their black Honda 4x4-sized thing as well then.
I was out on my bike on NY day when I happened upon a couple of their marked bikes, tanking down the A19. I stayed with them at speeds I shouldn't have
thinking they were just out for a bit of fun (most of the other traffic was being a bit naughty too but they were apparently ignoring it)... I got a bit puzzled when they carried straight on over the county boundary as I turned off at Crathorne, but the penny dropped 80 miles later as I was completing my circular route back through the 'Boro: they were escorting away team fans' coaches 
Too busy to worry about a lone biker then...

And their 5 door silver 55/56 reg Focus ST's too....
... and the unmarked white Volvo estate that they've been using at the new bridge works on the A66. Well it's almost marked: it says 'Police' on the bonnet in small letters, and it nicks you when you ignore the 30mph radar sign
The octavia and Focus ST's that have replaced the octavia's arent traffic cars as such, their anti crime units so will be found in town centres mainly, if their quiet or are co operating with traffic cops dont normally pull you over.
One to watch out for is the silver merc ML, totally unmarked but seen it pull people over loads of times, always spotted A19/A66.
