I bought one of Halfords ( I know ) professional torque wrench and is really good for the price.

www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10151&productId=180255&categoryId=31482

bestest place in the world is kit car shows bought mine for silly money. Halfords pro kit is very good, but a little pricey for the torque wrenches imo.

If i was goint to buy one tomorrow, i'd say machine mart:

That's funny, that's where I bought mine, their good fun kit car shows even if your not into kit cars. But for 15 quid there's no point waiting for a show to come round. Having said that Machine mart have got one of their VAT free days coming up soon.idea If your on their mailing list John you could save another couple of quid.

Thanks guys

I'm not into buying secondhand ones as you don't know if they've been 'wound down' after use - many on eBay.

Accuracy and quality is what I want.

Where are Britool these days? They used to be off Hadfiels Road but that was back in 1972

I had a Britool one from Farnell last year. They often have sales in their monthly flyers. You can also see the flyers at the farnell website.
