Seems quite cheap to me.
You cannot quantify the Schumacher factor; there's probably someone out there to whom that amount of money is nothing and who thinks that Mikey was the greatest driver, or whatever.
If, however, you were to value the sister cars to these four, I'd guess that the total would be about a third of this asking price, at most half.

Oh I agree Flemke, I'm not a Schuey fan to be honest but surely any driver that has had the success that he has seen would command a huge premium.
Blimey, you got me browsing, and i quite fancy a Ferrari 333sp hunting around i quickly found 2 ( although both sold)
one in yellow for 650 usd and an older one in red for 875usd, neither of them with race history.. not quite sure how they reach that value, thats possibly more than when they were racing them.... makes the ex shorty radical-judd with Le mans history a snip at about 200k, although the 333sp sounds awesome...

Surprised Michael doesn't have them himself; I seem to recall he's taken the keys for the car he drove at Brazil '06. If you could add that to the other four, it really would define an unprecedented career in F1.
How do you know he isn't the seller, now he's unemployed he's discovered his income is less than it was and he can't afford to keep his 6 homes in hot and cold running champagne so has to sell off some of his collection.

I'd love to see them at an exhibition.
to be honsest most exhibitions leave me cold, and believe me i've seen more museums, collections and exhibitions than most !!!
to really get those things you need to be able to see, hear, smell and feel them in action... they're racing cars and should be raced..
sadly though they'll probably end up on someones wall ;(

Even Donington ? That is one of the greatest static displays available for viewing. Just rub some castrol on your wrist, take an ipod with a clip of a BRM doing some laps and listen to that while you sniff your hand when you're walking round.

This same place is offering a used Enzo for £675k.
Methinks there may be a bit of negotiating room. Either that or they have some very naive clients.

Plenty of negotiating room with Paul Osborne - he does normally have plenty of tasty things to discuss though.
I agree with your previous comment, marketed independantly and without playing the "schumi" card these are worth considerably less.
Good try though!

Well, maybe Goodwood one year if they fall to the right buyer. But you're not going to "really get" them in context unless MS himself is driving them, which I suspect is probably going to be a one-off, if ever at all.
So, exhibitions do have their place
