thinking of going to a gig at Leeds uni...
but can i find where the bloomin union building is on their campus maps...and if the venue is part of the union building or elsewhere... maybe all will be obvious when i get there...
anyone able to shed any light on the matter

Hmm, as far as I can remember its roughly in the middle, to the right of where it says university road entrance. Best bet is to speak to someone at the Uni ( ring the reception? ).
Its pretty easy to find if your in the right area.
Good gig venue though, not been for ages unfortunatley.

aye, got through a lovely girl who gave the following:
"From Leeds City Centre, head north on Woodhouse Lane towards Headingley. You will pass Leeds Metropolitan University on your left hand side and will cross the inner city loop road. You will see the University of Leeds' Parkinson Steps and Clock Tower straight ahead and will pass them on your left. Bear left around the main campus and go past The Eldon and The Packhorse pubs on your right. Get in the left hand lane at the traffic lights and turn left onto Clarendon Road before The Library Pub. You will pass Henry Price Hall of residence on your left. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto University Road, turn right and then immediately left onto Lifton Place. All of our venues are in the student union building at the bottom of Lifton Place."

Yep,the last time I was there was early 1970s in the building with the red arrow!Nothings changed,not even the groups that were on,Roxy Music and Carlos Santana.
