Hope you chaps can help. I need a four wheel alignment doing on my M3. Was previously done by a main dealer (stupid money) but new tyres appear to have knocked it out slightly.

Any recommendations

Falcon Engineering on Skippers Lane, Middlesbough can do this. They speciallise in track car preparation so road car alignment should be simple for them

If your M3 has 19" wheels then a lot of places will struggle as most equpiment doesn't cater for wheels that big.

Definitely worth checking.

Where abouts are you?

Quite right, 19" boolers do appear to be causing a bit of an issue. I'm in Gateshead BTW.

Are the places mentioned laser allignment or just manual?

Need to find somewhere local otherwise its a trip to the Midlands for the nearest laser installation for my car and it has 19's as well.

Thanks Alan C. Can you remember the name of the place your father went to since your last post?

Hi.
Tryex 0191 3849887.
Derwent Tyres (Leadgate Consett) 01207 592036.
Pay to give them a call first to make sure they can do what you want the Griff runs on 16" rims

Good point, I run on 19" Sportecs, may cause some trouble.

It turns out that KwikFit on Scotswood road have a 'Hunter' 4 wheel laser alignment machine. Question is would you let KwikFit touch the suspension on your car or would you be worried about ending up in a hedge 10 minutes after you left the place?

No I don't think I would. For a start you'll be driving away with your steering wheel misaligned because they can't be bothered to adjust two track rod ends when one will do.
