Right, after the debate on the Hakan Nillson thread I thought I would start a little thread on who is going to win the championships this year.

So who is going to win:

Top Fuel:
Top Methanol:
Top Methanol FC:
Pro Modified:
Pro Stock:
Top Fuel Bike:
Pro Stock Bike:
Super Twin Top Fuel:

Are the FC's running a championship?

If so what about Nitro Funny Car:

Please add more if needed!

Here are mine:

Top Fuel: Urs Erbacher,
Top Methanol: Krister Johansson if he gets the tracks consistant, otherwise Peter Schoeffer
Top Methanol FC: of those confirmed so far in the class, Freddy.
Pro Modified: Micke Gullquist
Pro Stock: MM
Top Fuel Bike: Gustavsson
Pro Stock Bike: dont know
Super Twin Top Fuel: If he does all the rounds, the guy with the orange KTM, Jasko Salakari?, (The guy I really think will win hasnt confirmed he is switching to the class yet)
Nitro Funny Car: Too early to say...see above
CCSE Frosty,
Super Pro ET Pat Talbot
Super Gas, Team Bristol
9.50 Bike John Hackney

Still a lot of imponderables, of course, and if that double rollover jackpot drops in, then all bets are off! (I know it takes more than money...)

Top fuel Low ET 4.60 @ 325
AA/FC should see a 4.90 this year if certain variables happen
TFB will struggle to see a 6-teen
PM will see a 6-zero, but no fives.

I agree with Luke - don't discount the NFAA, we expect to run 7 meetings and we are out to entertain as well as run a season long points championship.

As for predicting the winner, well, Luke and Bettsy had better watch their backs, 'cos Chaos and The Mob will be loaded for bear.....

Top Fuel: Andy Carter (it's hard to back against Per & Carsten)
Top Methanol: Dave Wilson (the man's a legend)
Top Methanol FC: Dan Larsen (it's his turn for a bit of luck)
Pro Modified: Micke Gullquist (with a years worth of data on the Hemi, the PM field are in trouble!)
Pro Stock: Michael Malmgren (with a practice tree he'd be unbeatable)
Top Fuel Bike: Someone, *anyone* who does all the rounds, if he is then Ian King, if he isn't Rikard Gustafsson again.
Pro Stock Bike: Anders Abrahamsson (the class of the field)
Super Twin Top Fuel: Roel Koedam (quite simple, Roel + Ton + Vincent = Winner)

Yes it´s the same guy. He now runs a 41 Willys, tried a nitrous engine in Top Doorslammer last year but has now changed to a blown engine.
