HOW many PH mr2 owners r going 2 the most mr2 in a rolling convoy on 29 4 07 this is a world record attempt.if so i would like us all to meet and have a convoy down together if poss ?? any and all replys welcome

I am number 315 on just one of the many lists :
All mr2 mk1,mk2,mk3.
Cars counted as they cross the finnish.
Think we also get a bit of track time

I don't have an MR2, but was thinking I might come for a look. Rockingham isn't too far so i'll see what i'm doing. Bet it'll be quite a sight.

Hi Guys,
when you go up there could you keep a look out for a blue/grey mk2, reg no.j68 juy,it's very eye catching, twin 3" pipes on the back and a single inlet hole each side, the whole car was reved up in japan before coming over here (TRD spec) and was pushing out 298bhp, i owned it afew years back a would love to see its still on the road!

Ya, was a bit, but i was starting up a business and was not very pratical, so i ended up with a vectra!!

opps never mind. has the dredded engine manegment light come on yet. ie cam sensor/crank sensor gone. bad electrical connact etc he he has happened with all mine

i havent got it any more!! the vectra was traded for a 400 griff, and thats been up graded to a 500 now!!

Sunday 29th April? are you certain? I know there is a 2-day race meeting that weekend, hence my question.

It's OK, I did some checking and it is running that day. The website is here : www.mr2worldrecord.co.uk/

The World Record Attempt is on the Sunday 13:05 to 13:35 with racing either side. There are discounted tickets available from the site above, £7.50 for the whole weekend. The site also mentions that MR2 owners apparently have "track time" between 17:00 and 20:00 on the Saturday but the timetable shows SCSA qualifying happening until 17:25. There is also no detail on what exactly is meant by track time. I'm racing in the LMA Euro Saloon race on the Saturday so will be there anyway, and, as an MR2 Roadster owner may well support them on the Sunday.

Going down on sat morn, from stoke-on-trent.
Just waiting 4 more details of convoy's, times etc
Hope to see a few PH down there, or all from my area getting a convoy of our own.
