£400 car tax for 'high emission vehicles' from Apr 08!??????!

Even AFTER the extra tax fleeced from the extra fuel used.

Sickening

Anyone got a list of cars affected by this extra £100?

Anything registered after 23rd March 2006, diesel or petrol that produces more than 225g/km.

Just from the BBC website, so not 100% reliable:

ETA - O/T Hi Simon - are you in the UK at the mo? We're up for the Retro Race show at Stoneleigh on Saturday, if you're about, fancy meeting up for a little run and a drink, or just to say hi?

Top rate is only for post April 2006 cars.
Load of bollox anyway, if my car was 2001 instead of 2000 it would be £35 cheaper and nurses £75 cheaper.

Still spend your 2% of tax savings wisely, i reckon it could be worth several pounds a week!
