clap Great work F.M. Ive been posting Bathurst links like crazy lately and the music from this clip had its own thread recently aswell. I'll look for them.

ETA Brocky's last win at the "proper" Bathurst. Scene of the famous "Brock double shuffle" - enter yourself in both your cars, if one dies, boot your other drivers out of their car and win it in that instead.

ETA II Those two Eggenberger Sierras are up for sale I think too if you have about 85 grand spare.

Sierra's weren't even disqualified for the fuel problems mentioned during the race, it was bodywork technicality apparently. Also odd that the text at the end doesn't mention 3rd placed Brock as the winner, it reads as if the Ravaglia BMW won instead which it didn't.

Here's one I've not seen before, 1985 (pre-Caltex Chase) a full on board race lap with Tom Walkinshaw in the TWR XJS.

As a Conrod Straight purist, the addition of the chase was a period of turmoil for my family and I. But as track mods go, I reckon its one of the few made to any circuit that has actually enhanced it.

I agree, nothing like a full balls out corner into a heavy braking zone to sort the men from the boys. Anyone can just push the loud pedal to the floor.
