Right, these are the best ones (believe it or not!)

Want to guess what it is?

I was exactly where you were, moved up the road a mile for the re-run and had one plough into a ditch in front of us then the next car rolled three times and landed next to him in the ditch, will have some quality pics uploaded shortly. Good spot by that bridge !

Its white but I borowed my dads Fiat Panda as the Evo was tucked away in Surrey, I had a look at the guys in the chopper but did not recognise any famous faces....

dan_the_man...that'll have been Adam Gould, followed by Elfyn Evans then. Gouldy was telling me all about it earlier; sounded dramatic! Just wish I'd seen it. He got away with a smashed headlight and a knock to the bonnet. Gould that is, Evans' car was a little worse off than that...

Shame for Gouldy, really, he was looking at a podium and vital c'ship points.

Tell Gouldy hes a plonker, he only had 2 wheels in the ditch, we would have had him out in about 45 seconds but he stopped the engine, took his helmet off and got out. I shouted at a load of lads at the next corner to give him a shove and thats when the second car came literally flying into the same ditch. He's probably not used to getting stuck but usually a few blasts on the horn summons the Kielder demons out of the trees.

Great pics.

This was my first trip to a rally (the road stage went past my Dads house in Roadhead so it would be rude not to attend!!!). Watched the road stage from his front room on Friday pm then into Kershope for the afternoon stage on Saturday.

It was great going to motorsport and not having to worry about parking, views over fences, thousands of other spectators in your way. It was like motorsport in the land that health & safety forgot.

Who was in the chopper?

Gouldy reckoned they tried for ages to get it out, with spectators pushing and all sorts. I have to say, looking at that photo, it seems a rather pathetic place in which to get stuck.

I will call him a plonker.

Have you seen the next photo in that sequence? Gouldy is in the background, wincing as Elfyn's car launches over his.
