F1 Car at Elvington

Just thought I'd let everyone know. Renault F1 team are testing at Elvington today. Was up on a porsche experiance there. And got to see it doing straight line testing. Unbeliable!! Although it appeared to be a 6 speed, and was just flat in 6th for 95% of the straight, and didnt look to be moving tht quick. Anyway. It was very cool!

Its been used by many F1 teams for straight line aero testing and to help young drivers understand how an F1 car behaves. So long as the local council do not cave in regarding niose level it will remain as an F1 testing facility.
