I'm attending my first EVER F1 race this year at Silverstone. I have a 3-day general admission pass and was wondering where the best places to stand to get a decent view of the race are.

Any help appreciated.

At home, in front of the telly

Sadly if you've only got an ordinary general admittance ticket, you'll find your options limited and you'll need to get up VERY early on Sunday to stake yourself out a good spot.

Make the most of Friday as it will be by far the quieter day and probably has most F1 track action (haven't seen a timetable though). Saturday will be busier but bearable. Sunday will be dreadful - I believe ticket sales are up based on the "Lewis Hamilton effect".
