Indy 500 ?

Well I have the misfortune of working in Indianapolis for two weeks later this month, anyone any first hand experience of this event ?
Looking to maybe catch up on some of the qualifying runs, doubt I would get a ticket for the main event at this late stage ? Or would I ?
Anyone one on here going ? Fancy showing me the ropes ?

I've been to the last 3 races as part of work.....best day is race day by far. 400,000 fans is just fantastic. Don't know about tickets, but would have thought you'd be OK. If you can't get to the race then carb day is OK (Friday before the race). Or other good days are pole day (this Sat) or bump day (next Sunday).
