Steering wheel adjustment

I've had my Chim 4.0 HC for a week now and can't seem to get the steering wheel to adjust. A previous owner has put a Leven adjuster on and I know this is shorter than standard but the wheel just refuses to move. How much should it move? Up and down I assume?

Anyone else had a similar problem?

If memeory serves me correctly you pull the adjustment lever towards you to move the steering wheel. Doesn't sdjust for reach, only up and down. When you pull the lever the wheel tries to move upwards, either weighted or spring loaded

So you may want to exert a light down ward pressure on the wheel and try the adjustment lever again. May help to release what is making it stick.
