Hi all,

I've just about done it, The family's vectra estate has gone, wife's got a new fiesta and I pick my 97R Chimaera 400 tomorrow morning. Scared to death!! I've ordered a 'bible', joined the TVR Car Club, bought a multi changer to fit and even treated myself, or rather the Chim to an Autoglym Valet set.

Anything else I should consider??

Only joking, but it's not a bad idea anyway, just enjoy it and take it easy for the first few weeks

Yep! A FAT WALLET
Three reasons for this:-
1) Optimax
2) All the events you'll be going to every weekend
3) To stick under the back wheel when parked on an incline and you realise that your hand brake ain't any good.

Seriously,
Good choice.
Enjoy and drive carefully until it gets use to you.

You might find that new stereo is a waste of money!! You'll never turn it on becasue you will be to busy listening to the gorgeous noise from the V8.

Have fun.

Agreed, I fitted a CD Changer to my Chimera when I got it, only turn it on when roof up and stuck in a queue of traffic. All other times the exhaust make the best music.
