Bad week end or what.

Sucessfully replaced the rear bushes with Poly ones. Much easier following the info and advice posted on here. Thanks guys.
Thought I would replace the diff pinion seal at the same time. Big mistake.I spent 8 hours actually trying to remove the seal. The end result is it now has to come out, but won't.
There has to be an easier way I thought. I know I'll remove the diff and there will be better access. Undid the brake pipe eventually. Undid the top two bolts. This is easy. Then comes the rear cradle bolts or not as the case is. I could not get a spanner or socket on the bottom(no access, bolt too close to chassis) I know lets drill the suckers out. Well needless to say the bolts are still attached to the car. I've now decided to wait until next weekend armed with some good quality drill bits and a f*** off great big chisel.
The only saving grace is the weathers been awfull so I couldn't have driven the car anyway.
If anyone else has any advice, a big hammer or a good sense of humour please comment
