MINI CD CHANGER

i just bought a new (second hand) mcs 2004 (feb), i still have my 04 cooper gave it to my daughter.. and was thinking about taking the cd changer out and putting it in my mcs, does anyone know what i need to do this is it difficult or should i ask the dealer to do it..

You basically need a phillips screwdriver,undo the screws from the mounting bracket to side panel and when its off dissconect the wires.
The wires on yours will be either tucked under the boot carpet or behind the access panel in the side panel-they may also be tied/wrapped up so not completely obvious.
Just plug in and refit-the only additional thing you may have to do is to slice the boot carpet as your other one should be.You dont have to do this-the reason its done is to give easy access to the run flat unit/battery
