weather crap saturday,weather crap sunday
hello - whats this on monday - not sunshine
push chimeara out of garage, climb in, turn key and nothing but a click.- head in hands and try again but still dead - cannot believe it as first let down in 12 months of ownership.

after 2 mins of head scratching and praying, returned to try again and hey presto she starts as always.
No problem starting for rest of today but the doubts are now in back of mind.

any ideas would be most appreciated -
ps new battery installed 1 month ago with main service

Sorry to hear that you are having problems, had a similar experience myself, turned out that the voltage regulator had packed in on the alternator.

However it could be a dodgy earth?

when you put the ignition on did the fuel pump prime up? if yes could be sticky starter motor/solenoid
